Carlo is Italian. He relocated to the US 11 years ago. He discovered his love for dogs in his homeland while he used to rescue and provide shelter for farm animals and street dogs alongside his older cousin, Leonardo. He traveled to the US with the ambition of working with dogs. He graduated from Nassau Community College in Liberal Arts in 2019 and from SUNY at Old Westbury with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2021. He opted to pursue his passion for dogs and obtained his certification as a Dog Trainer in 2022 through Animal Behavior College (ABC). He is currently one of the Certified Dog Trainers of the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter since 2023. Carlo is available for private classes and has experience with every aspect of dog training, including basic training, post-adoption behaviors in shelter dogs, and behavioral issues like resource guarding, leash pulling/biting, stranger danger, territorial issues, and more.
