Carlo is Italian. He relocated to the US 11 years ago. He discovered his love for dogs in his homeland while he used to rescue and provide shelter for farm animals and street dogs alongside his older cousin, Leonardo. He traveled to the US with the ambition of working with dogs. He graduated from Nassau Community College with a Liberal Arts degree in 2019 and from SUNY at Old Westbury with a bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2021. He opted to pursue his passion for dogs and obtained his certification as a dog trainer in 2022 through Animal Behavior College (ABC). He has been working for the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter from 2023 to 2026 as a certified dog trainer. This year he took a leap of faith and decided to invest in himself and his skills. Carlo is available for private classes and has experience with every aspect of dog training, including basic training, post-adoption behaviors in shelter and rescue dogs, and behavioral issues like resource guarding, leash pulling/biting, stranger danger, territorial issues, and more.
